How long does a foreclosure take in Texas?

I've found all the legal jargon crud but can someone break it down in simple terms and plain english that make sense? It's an FHA loan in Texas at 5.5% fixed rate 30 year mortgage if that makes any difference. The loan originated 6 years ago and the property value is equal to or slightly less (within 5 to 8k) than the balance on the note.
I want to know the following things about the foreclosure process in Texas:
What is the actual time line for the foreclosure?
Does the time line start from the date of your last payment?
How long do you actually have before you're forced out of the house?
Is there any way to stall off the mortgage company and make it take longer?
How about my escrow money - is there a way to get it out prior to all this happening?, more
and Messy divorce-we want the house back. Please help!?  My husband went through a divorce last year and the ex wife won the house in the divorce. He placed a lien on the home for money that was owed to him and she agreed to sign the lien and the attorney filed it. Now she is one week away from foreclosure and cant make the payments. He is the primary on the note, and she is the secondary. My question is: can he get the house back if it is about to be foreclosed on to protect the lien? We can get it current again, but we want possession of the home. Help! What can we do? FYI we live in Texas. ANY HELP AT ALL would be great!, more
